We have a birthday celebration this coming weekend for our family baby nephew so serving the Ee Fu Mian aka Birthday Noodles with Broccoli is a must. Also known as the ee fu noodles, it’s a typical noodle served during Chinese weddings and banquets. The kids in my family loves this type of noodle as it is soft and easy to chew, and it’s also very tasty without much seasoning.

We cook the ee fu noodles sometimes in chicken or vegetable broth and top it with some fish slices or pork and bak choy. So you can see, it’s a really versatile ingredient noodle that you can cook with different combinations of meat and vegetables.
