Here’s a nutrient-rich superfood collagen yoghurt bowl that is quick and easy to put together. All you need is less than 10 minutes before you can enjoy a nutritious bowl of yumminess. This recipe post is a collaboration with New Moon, using their newly launched New Moon Daily Collagen powder.
How to make yoghurt bowl
The steps are really simple and requires no cooking. Just put together a bowl of chilled Greek yoghurt, add on your favourite fruits and toppings, in this recipe, I added two tablespoon of collagen powder, one banana, a cup of raspberries and two beautiful red kiwis. Then add on peanut butter, chia seeds and rolled oats. The yoghurt bowl is not only healthy and delicious, it’s also a really pretty bowl of goodness packed with protein, healthy fats, fibre, vitamins and carbs.
What can I add to the yoghurt bowl
The toppings you can add are very versatile. I would say add ingredients that you like for a start. Berries are great sources of antioxidants, vitamin C, fibre and yet are low in calories. Chocolate can also be added to replace or complement the peanut butter. I’d choose dark chocolate over milk chocolate as I prefer the chocolate to be less sweet. I see many recipes adding granola and nuts so these are definitely great options.
Sometimes I add strawberry or banana flavoured protein powder to the yoghurt and chill it, so it taste like creamy melted ice cream. The tip here is to use Greek yoghurt as the tartness is a great contrast to the sweet flavoured protein powder. Of course, if you prefer using plain vanilla yoghurt or fruit flavoured yoghurt, that works too but I’ll avoid using toppings that are too sweet.

Superfood Collagen Yoghurt Bowl
- Peel the 2 kiwis and 1 banana. Cut into thin slices.2 kiwis, 1 banana
