Since I got the Ninja Max XL air fryer, I’ve been trying to air fry almost anything and everything. And a great substitute to the much beloved french fries, as well as a healthier version is using carrots in place of potatoes. This air fryer carrot fries recipe is not only great for vegans, vegetarians, for the healthy-conscious and weight-conscious individuals, this is a perfect snack and side to steaks and fish dishes.

How to make air fryer carrot fries?

Air fryer carrot fries are so easy to make, really the most time consuming of all is the washing, peeling and cutting of the carrots. Once done, toss in cooking oil and seasoning, pop into the air fryer at 180 degree celsius for 15 minutes, and wala! Your carrot fries are ready.

I love carrots so much, in fact even before air frying, I was already munching half of the raw carrots with seasoning. So I usually prepare a lot of carrot fries, knowing, it’ll never be never, whether eating it raw or cooked.

Of course, if you don’t have an air fryer, you can also pop it into the oven and bake it over 200 degree celsius for about 15 minutes.

You know it’s ready when the carrot fries turn a little brown and probably also charred on the sides. They look just like sweet potato fries and just as yummy.
